Creating a Project

Creating new projects involves the following high-level steps:

  1. Select clients. You can select one or more clients when creating a project.

    Note: The client's fiscal year end must be entered on the Administrative tab in the client's profile before you can create a project for that client. Only clients with the same fiscal year end can be included in the same project.

  2. Enter basic project information. Select the project template, and then enter other project information, such as the project ID and name. See Entering Basic Project Information for more information.
  3. Complete additional information. Enter the following data, if required. Depending on your project settings, you might be able to enter this data at a later time.
  4. Click Create & Close to create the project or projects.

After completing these steps, you can open the project profile to enter or modify additional information that is part of the project.
