If you have transactions stored outside of CCH Axcess, you can use the Time Capture import utility to import those transactions. You can import transactions from the following types of files:
XLSX
XML
TXT
CSV
To import transactions, do the following:
Open Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Time transactions under Time Capture.
Click Import in the Batch Transactions group on the Tools tab.
Select which worksheet contains the transaction information you are importing.
This option only displays if you are importing from an XLSX file.
Document Type Definition (DTD) filename
Select which DTD file contains the transaction information you are importing.
This option only displays if you are importing from an XML file.
Parameter set
Select the parameter set name to set as the default. To create or edit a new parameter set, you can click or. See Creating or Selecting a Parameter Set for more information.
If you are importing from a TXT or CSV file, the parameter set will determine if the text is treated as fixed-width or delimited.
Click Import. Each transaction that is successfully imported will be added to WIP.
