Reviewing CCH Axcess iQ News Details
Display detail for a tax news event by clicking a news event title from the Dashboard iQ Events pane. The full publication includes an overview of the ruling and how it applies to clients. Refer to the Event Timeline section to view the past and present state of the news event.
Actions
You can do the following:
- Open sections. Navigate the publication by clicking section headings on the left side of the window, such as Key Primary Resources and Client Letters.
- Download PDF. Click at the top of the window to save and open the publication as a PDF file.
- View affected clients. Click View affected clients under Take Action to open a list of client information and links to client tax returns. See Reviewing CCH Axcess iQ Client Details for more information.
- Download letter. Click Download client letter under Take Action to open the letter associated with a news event that you can use to alert clients of regulation changes. Save and edit the letter as needed. You can also copy the letter contents in an email message or use the contents as points of conversation with your customers.
- Tag a favorite event. Keep track of the events that are most important to you and your clients by tagging your favorite events.
- Link to research. Do either of the following:
- Click links in the Event Timeline to view historical references for the publication. Links in the Event Timeline open other CCH Axcess iQ news events.
- Click supporting research links in the publication content to open additional detail in CCH® AnswerConnect.
