Adding the iQ Events Pane

The iQ Events pane provides a summary of the announced, proposed, and final changes to tax rulings that may impact your clients.

Note:

• You must be licensed for CCH Axcess iQ and CCH Axcess Tax must be licensed and installed.

You can add the iQ Events pane from the Application Links window or by customizing your Dashboard.

Option 1 - Application Links

Click Application Links on the Dashboard navigation panel, and then click iQ Events under Business Intelligence. The pane is added to a new page on your Dashboard.

Option 2 - Customize Your Dashboard

Add pane using the Customize window.

1. Click Customize on the Dashboard navigation panel.
2. Select a page for the new pane from the list in the Add Pane section.
3. Select iQ Events from the list in the Add pane section.
4. Click one of the Save buttons or Cancel.

Button	Description
Save	Saves the changes without exiting the window. An error message displays if you click this button before entering all required information.
Save & Close	Saves the changes and exits the window. An error message displays if you click this button before entering all required information.
Cancel	Exits the window without saving your changes.

Add pane using an existing column.

1. Do one of the following:
   • Place your cursor over a blank area of an existing column.

   Note: You may need to collapse the contents of an existing column to access a blank area.

   • Place your cursor above the title of an existing column.
2. Right-click and select Add Pane.
3. Select iQ Events from the Choose Pane Content window.
4. Click OK to add the content.
