Using Batch Manager
To help you manage multiple returns, Tax allows you to do the following in batch processes:
- Calculate returns
- Print returns
- Print Organizers
- Print extensions
- Roll forward returns and templates
- Electronically file extensions
- Electronically file specialized state extensions and estimates
You can create and schedule jobs to perform these tasks. Jobs can be scheduled for repeated use in a variety of time intervals.
Batch Manager allows you to perform tasks unattended, schedule repetitive tasks without further intervention, and schedule tasks to run during times when resources are most available.
Use scheduling to start jobs at predetermined days and times. This allows jobs to start unattended and allows use of resources during non-peak periods, such as overnight.
See Opening Correspondence Manager from Batch Manager and Managing Organizer Letters for information about adding, editing, and deleting Organizer letters.
