Setting Client Collaboration Permissions

The tasks that a staff member can perform in Client Collaboration are determined by the security groupClosed A set of access rights and restrictions that are assigned to a specific group of staff members. Any staff member assigned to the security group automatically receives that group's access rights. that the staff member is included in and the functional rights that are assigned to that security group.

The procedure below provides high-level instructions for assigning functional rights to an existing security group. It also describes the functional rights available for Client Collaboration.

  • If you need to create a new security group or need more information about security groups, we recommend reviewing the Security Settings section of the Administration Manager Help.
  • For instructions on assigning a user to a security group, see Assigning Staff to Security Groups in the Administration Manager Help.

Note: You must have administrative permissions in CCH Axcess to access and change permissions for a security group.
