The Print Organizers Options window displays after you select the Organizers for the print job. See Printing Organizer Forms in a Batch for more information.
To set your Organizer print options, do the following:
Select the number of print copies. You can print from one to nine copies if you are printing to a printer. You can send only one copy to a PDF or TIFF file.
Print to
Select the print destination; printer, PDF file or TIFF file.
Important: If you select PDF, the files are processed by the system and are then available for you to download. See Downloading PDF Print Files for more information.
Print device
If you selected to print to a physical printer, select the device to produce the print output. The device defaults to the printer configured in Printer Setup or your last selected printer. You can select another device from the list of installed printers, if needed.
Watermark
Select a watermark to print in the document background, if needed, diagonally from the lower-left to the upper-right corner of the page. The watermark list is configured and can be edited for each return configuration set. You can enter other text, but it will not be saved in the return configuration set Watermark list.
Path
If you are creating a TIFF file, enter or click Browse to select the file location, and then enter the file name.
When printing to PDF, the path is the location set in Batch Manager User Options.
When printing to a printer, select to sort Organizers by client name or client ID.
When printing to PDF, select to include only the client ID or both the client name and client ID in the PDF file name.
Select an Organizer print set from the list. Organizer print sets determine the conditions that documents print for Individual and Fiduciary tax products, according to a tax authority and tax year combination. See Managing Organizer Print Sets for more information.
If needed, select to create all specified Organizers. This selection overrides the option to suppress Organizer processing on the General > Return Options > Pro Forma and Organizer Options worksheet.
Do one of the following to complete your job:
Click Submit Job to submit the job for immediate processing.
Click Schedule Job to schedule the job for another time.
