Downloading PDF Print Files

Returns (entire return and federal, state, and city returns), extensions (first and second), and Organizer forms that you batch print to PDF are processed by the system and are then available for you to download.

To download PDF print files, do the following:

  1. Filter jobs in the Job Status grid by the appropriate Download Files job type.
  2. Select your submitted print job in the Job Status grid and click Ready for Download in the Download column.
  3. Accept the default file storage location or browse to a different location, and then click Start. The Download Status column displays one of the following:
    • The progress of the download.
    • The number of downloaded files for each return.
    • A failed status with an error description in the Comments column.
  4. Note: You can pause and resume the download, if needed.

    Warning! If you cancel the download, you cannot resume the download of remaining files in the batch.

  5. Select to print or export the grid contents, if needed.
  6. Option Description
    Print Display the Print window. Select your printer options, if needed, and click Print to send the contents of the Download Files window to a printer.
    Export Display the Save As window. Select your file location and name, and click Save to create a copy of the report as a Microsoft® Excel® file. See Setting Your Batch Manager User Options for information about setting a default file location for your exported files.
  7. Close the Download Files window to return to the Job Status grid.
