Setting the Firm Job History Option

By default, Batch Manager jobs are retained for seven days before they are deleted. To change the default for your firm, do the following:

  1. Open Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Settings and defaults under Firm.
  2. Click Tax > Options on the navigation panel.
  3. Under Batch Manager job history, select the number of days jobs should be retained in Batch Manager.
  4. Click OK.

Notes:

  • Electronic Filing > Extension jobs are retained for 60 days, regardless of the firm setting.
  • If the default number of days is changed for your firm, jobs that exceed the new limit will be removed from Batch Manager within 24 hours.
  • You can manually delete any job, removing the job from history. See Deleting Batch Jobs for more information.
