Issues that Prevent a Roll Forward from Completing
If projects cannot be rolled forward due to a problem, an Exception Report displays at the end of the roll forward process.
The report lists all the projects that were not rolled forward with an explanation for each exception. You can click Print to keep a record of the report, or Cancel to close the report.
The following conditions prevent a project from rolling forward:
- If the roll forward process is canceled when multiple projects are selected to roll forward.
- A project has a frequency of one-time only.
- A project has the Do not roll forward option selected on the General Information tab in the project profile.
- A project is set to roll forward automatically and is required when multiple projects are selected to roll forward.
- A project's method of handling duplicate projects is set to Cancel the roll forward, and a project with the same ID, frequency, and planned dates as the proposed new project exists.
- A project is on hold.
- A project's client status is on hold.
- A project's client status is inactive.
- A project's client status is on hold for litigation.
- A project requires worksteps, and no worksteps are available.
