Preventing a Project from Rolling Forward

You can prevent an individual project from rolling forward, even if the template has roll forward options set up. To stop a project from rolling forward, do the following:

1. Open Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Projects under Workstream.
2. Select one or more projects in the grid, and then do one of the following to display the Project profile:
• If updating one project, click in the Edit group on the Home tab or right-click and select Open from the menu.
• If updating more than one project, select Update Multiple > Individual in the Edit group on the Home tab.
3. On the General Information tab, select the Do not roll forward check box.
4. Click one of the Save options.

   Button	Description
   Save	Saves the changes without exiting the window. Does not display if you've selected to update multiple projects.
   Save & New	Saves the changes and opens a new window. An error message displays if you click this button before entering all required information.
   Save & Next	Saves the changes and moves to the next selected project. This option doesn't display if you've only selected to update one project or you are viewing the last selected project.
   Save & Previous	Saves the changes and moves to the previous selected project. This option doesn't display if you've only selected to update one project or you are viewing the first selected project.
   Save & Close	Saves the changes and exits the window. An error message displays if you click this button before entering all required information.
