Viewing and Editing the Properties for a File
You can open the Properties window for a file by doing one of the following, depending on the type of device you have:
- Desktop computer. Select the check box for the file. Then, click the More Actions button
above the file list and select Properties.
- Tablet or phone. Tap the More Actions button
next to the file you want to check out, and then select Properties.
Depending on your user type and permissions, you might be able to edit information on the Properties window. If you edit information on this page, click or tap Save to apply your edits and exit the Properties window.

File name |
Displays the unique name for this file in this portal. |
Folder path |
Displays the current location of the file in the portal. |
Expiration date |
The date when this file can be removed from the portal. |
Notes |
Displays additional information entered about the file, if any. |
Keywords |
Lists keywords that can be used to categorize and locate the file. |
Portal edit mode |
Indicates whether a file is read-only or editable. |
File type |
Displays an icon that represents the program that created the file. |
Last modified on |
Displays the date when the file was last edited. |
File size |
Displays the size of the file in megabytes. |
Modified by |
Displays the email address of the person who last edited the file. |
Portal name |
Displays the unique name for this portal. |
File status |
Indicates if the file is checked in, checked out, or locked. |
Created date |
Displays the date the file was created. |
