Overview of User Types
Your user type displays in parentheses beneath your user name at the top of the Client Axcess screen. The features that are available to you are determined by your user type and the security roles that are assigned to you.
There are two user types:
- Portal or Client User. Client users have home pages that display information specific to the user. Portal users can be created by portal administrators or by the firm that provides the portal.
- Portal Administrator. A portal administrator is a client user who has the authority to create other client users, assign permissions, and modify the portal configuration.
