Configuring Return Configuration Set Correspondence

Configuration options for standard letter templates are set in the return configuration set. The options are applied to all letter types for the selected return configuration set (see the notes below regarding several exceptions).

Use the Correspondence return configuration set windows to do the following:

• Configure your letter types and label options
• Customize a heading and complimentary close
• Customize options for letter and filing instructions content
• Configure grantor, custodial, and beneficiary letter preparation
• Customize stationery options for your letterhead and font

Notes:

• Custom headings and letterheads are the only return configuration set options that are applied to consent letters.
• Filing instructions do not print with letterhead.
• Custom font settings are not applied to filing instructions.
• You must have assigned rights to access return configuration sets.

Return Options

You can set correspondence options at the return level, overriding the return configuration set options on the General > Return Options and General > Letters and Filing Instructions worksheets.
