Using Overrides
Overrides change the amount in a government form field that normally receives data from a calculation. When you enter an override in a government form field, the amount will not change from a calculation unless you remove the override.
Overridden amounts display in government forms in pink font color. You can also create a report showing a summary of all overrides in a return using Overrides on the Review menu. See Reviewing the Field Override Report for more information.
