Updating Tax Return Status

The Return Status column displays the status that is defined for Workstream or, if Workstream is not installed, Status Tracker. You can update the status of a tax return from the Return Manager grid.

To update the status, do the following:

  1. Select a tax return in the Return Manager grid.
  2. Click the drop-down () in the Return Status column, to display the Update Status window.
  3. Select the appropriate return status to update the status.

Note: If the selected return is linked to a Workstream project, you also have the option of updating the project status. See Sending Return and Project Status Updates to Workstream for more information.
