Resetting a Forgotten Password

To reset a forgotten password, do the following:

  1. Click Forgot Your Password on the CCH Axcess Login window navigation panel.
  2. Enter the account number, if necessary.
  3. Enter your user ID.
  4. Click Retrieve question to display one of the three security questions that you set up the first time you logged in or later changed in User Options.
  5. Type the answer to the question in the available box, then click OK to reset your password and receive a new password via email.
  6. Note: If you enter the wrong answer, click Retrieve question again to display one of your other security questions. If you fail to answer a question correctly after five attempts, you must contact Support to reset your password.
