Reviewing Report Properties
A report's properties include the report's origin, original name, description, and creation and edit information. The Properties tab of the Report Options window displays basic information about a report and allows you to edit the report description, if you access the window from My Reports or the Shared Library; otherwise, the description is not editable.
To review properties or edit the description for the selected report, do the following:
- Open Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Reports Manager under Reports.
- Click My Reports, Shared Library, or Firm Library on the navigation panel and select a view.
- Select a report from the grid.
- Click Report Options in the Options group on the Home tab.
- If you selected a standard report in the Firm Library, click Properties on the navigation panel.
- Review the report properties or edit the report description. Explain the components of the window.
- Do any of the following:

Preview | Saves your current print options and displays the report layout in a new window to preview your settings. You can also start the print process on the Print Preview window. |
Saves your current print options and initiates the print process. | |
Save & Close | Saves your changes and closes the Report Options window. |
Cancel | Closes the window without saving your changes. |
