Creating Multiple Portals at One Time with the Batch Portal Creation Window
Firm administrators can create portals in batches using the Batch Portal Creation window. Creating portals in batches can save you time. You can enter information for multiple new portals in a single place, and then simultaneously create multiple portals.
To create portals in the Batch Portal Creation window, do the following:
After logging in to your portal, click the Administration tab on the navigation panel.
Click Setup > Manage portal on the Administration tab.
Click Batch Portal Creation.
Select No when the system asks if you want to import a template.
If needed, select Disable email notifications when portals are created. Selecting this box deactivates notifications for the new portals. This can be helpful if you want to set up the portals, upload a welcome message, or provide instructions before the client is informed that a portal exists.
Click into the grid and enter information for each portal. The minimum required information for each portal is a portal name, an email address for the portal administrator, and a folder template. Tell me more about the columns in the grid.

Repeat the previous two steps as necessary until all the new portals have been added to the list.
Click Evaluate to check for errors that must be resolved before the portals can be created. The icons in the Status column indicate whether you can proceed with creating the portals.
Icon
Description
Valid Status
There are no errors or problems to prevent successful portal creation.
Warning
The portal can be created, but there are issues that may prevent full access to data or functionality in the new portal. Hover the pointer over the icon to view more details about these issues.
Error
Errors exist for this portal that will prevent the portal from being created. You will be unable to create any of portals in the list until these errors are resolved. Hover the pointer over the icon to display more information about the errors that must be resolved before the portal can be created.
If needed, resolve any errors, and then repeat the previous step to verify that there are no additional errors that will prevent the portals from being created.
When all errors have been resolved, click Continue to create the portals.
Select Yes if you want to download a process log, or No if you do not want to download the log. A process log lists the date and time that each new portal was created. If a portal was not created successfully, it also lists the reason for the failure.
If you selected Yes on the previous step, enter a file name for the log, select a location where the file should be saved, and then click Save.
