Adding Payment Links in Invoice Emails and Invoice Templates

If your firm has set up ePay, you can add payment links to your invoice emails and invoice templates. When clients click these links, the payment portal will open so that customers can make an electronic payment.

ClosedAdd a payment link to invoice emails.

  1. On the Dashboard, click User Options on the navigation panel.
  2. Click Practice > Billing on the navigation panel.
  3. Click Invoice subject and body.
  4. Insert your cursor in the location in the email text where you want to insert the payment link.
  5. Click Insert ePay Link.
  6. Complete any other edits as needed.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Click OK again.

ClosedAdd a payment link to your invoice templates.

Payment links can be added in the header, footer, or in an invoice paragraph.

  1. In Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel.
  2. Click Invoice and statement templates under Firm.
  3. In the navigation pane, double-click the header, footer, or paragraph that you want to add an ePay link to.
  4. Insert your cursor in the location where you want to add the payment link.
  5. Click Insert ePay Link on the Home ribbon.
  6. Complete any other edits as needed.
  7. Click Save on the application menu or quick access toolbar.
