CCH Axcess™ Data Axcess™ APIs and Utility

CCH Axcess Data Axcess APIs and Utility are tools which provide the ability to obtain data for custom reporting. The service is enabled via Reports in Firm Settings.

Prior to installing Data Axcess Utility or using an API, the Populate Data Axcess API data warehouse checkbox must be selected (more information below).

After activating the checkbox, wait until the next day (after 7:00 AM ET) to download data.

Notes:

  • The Populate Data Axcess API data warehouse check box must be selected in order to download data.
  • If a download does not occur for 60 days, this feature is automatically deactivated.
  • Once the check box has been activated, it cannot be manually deactivated. It will only deactivate if a download does not occur for 60 days.

CCH Axcess™ Data Dashboards

CCH Axcess Data Dashboards helps you visualize key performance indicators. You can publish Data Dashboards or other Power BI reports on the Web and navigate to them from Dashboard Application links. Learn More.

Notes:

  • CCH Axcess Data Dashboards requires using CCH Data Axcess Utility.
  • Power BI on the Web requires an on-premises data gateway.

To change the behavior of the Data Dashboards link, do the following:

  1. Open Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Settings and defaults under Firm.
  2. Click Reports on the navigation panel.
  3. Select an option under What do you want to see when users click on the Data Dashboards Link?
  4. Click OK.

Note: You will see the new behavior the next time you launch CCH Axcess.
