Using Document with Other CCH Axcess Modules

Document and the other modules in CCH Axcess share a common client database. As you create files for clients in other CCH Axcess modules, you can add the files directly to the clients' folders in Document. If your firm uses Portal along with Document, you can also send the files directly to your clients' portals.

Practice

Send invoices created with Practice to Document. If your firm uses Portal, you can publish the invoices to portals also.

Tax

Send returns to Document from within Tax. If your firm uses Portal, the files also can be sent to Portal.

Workstream

Link files in Document to projects created in Workstream. View, access, and link files stored in Document from within Workstream.

Portal

Exchange files with clients in a secure manner. Add client files published to a portal to Document.
