DataScan Permissions

The table below explains the permissions your administrator may assign to you.

For more information about permissions, open Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel, click Security groups under Security, and then click the Help button.

Parent Function	Child Function	Permission Description
Access DataScan		Allows you to access DataScan's main page and create a new scan.
Scan password protected returns		Allows you to select to include password protected returns in your scan results.
Scans created by other users		Allows you to view, submit, edit, and delete scans created by other users.
	Access scan results of other users	Allows you to view and delete other users' scan results. Notes: If you are granted this permission, you will be able to view other users' scan results even if those results contain information you do not have administrative rights to view. You cannot have permission to view other users' scan results without also having permission to edit other users' scans.
Scan Client Profile		Allows users to scan profiles within Client Manager. Note: Scan results will include only those clients for which you have at least view-level rights.
