Using the DMQ Monitor

System Administrators can check the status of migration jobs by selecting DMQ Monitor on the Welcome page. The DMQ Monitor feature helps you locate the position of your migration jobs relative to other accounts.

Important:

• This feature is only available for System Admin users who have the permission key to run it.

• This feature is not available for ProSystem fx Practice or ProSystem fx Practice Management migrations.

• ProSystem fx Tax does not need to be installed on the machine that is running the DMQ Monitor.

1. On the Data Migration Utility Welcome window, click DMQ Monitor.

2. Select ProSystem fx Tax and click Continue.

3. If ProSystem fx Tax is installed on the machine running the DMQ Monitor, the database path and database description will be displayed.

4. A window will display with the tax data migration queue for the migrations that are pending. It lists all of the accounts, number of returns, and the date queued.

5. Locate your account number in the list to determine what position it is in the migration queue.
