Deleting a Request

Deleted requests remain on the request list for 24 hours. This delay allows you a limited opportunity to undo the deletion. Once that 24 hours passes, you cannot restore the request. If you need it, it must be recreated.

Note: You must be granted the Client Collaboration - Request Dashboard - Client Requests - Delete permission to delete requests.

You can delete a request from the Ready to Send, Client Progress, Overdue, and Error status pages.

  1. If you are not already on a Requests page, click , and then select Requests.
  2. Do one of the following on the Requests dashboard, depending on the location of the request: 
    • To open the Ready to Send or Client Progress status page, click the status name or status wedge in the Request Status section.
    • To open the Overdue status page, click View overdue requests on the Overdue tile.
    • To open the Error status page, click View errors on the Errors tile.
  3. Do one or both of the following as needed to narrow the list of requests to select from:
    • Click above the grid and select a filter set. You can also create a new filter set.
    • Enter all or part of the client name in the search box above the grid.
  4. Click for the request, and then select Delete request.
  5. Click Yes.

Note: Deleted requests display with a line through them on the request lists.
