Installing the CCH Axcess Plug-in Framework

Before you can install the CCH Axcess Plug-ins, your computer must have the plug-in framework installed. Depending on how your installation was performed, the framework might be installed for you already. If so, you can proceed with installing the plug-ins. Otherwise, complete the framework installation procedure below before continuing with the plug-in installation.

  1. Open the Microsoft® Windows® Control Panel.
  2. Select Programs and Features.
  3. Scroll through the list of installed programs. If the CCH Axcess Office Plug-in Framework is included in the list, then the framework is already installed.

ClosedHow do I install the framework if it is not already installed?

  1. ClosedLocate and double-click the Office2007us.msi installation file. The framework installation file is at the following location on your computer:
    • x:\\Program Files (x86)\WK\ProSystem fx Suite\Smart Client\SaaS\OFFICEFRAMEWORK, where x is the drive where Document is installed.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Select I Agree after reviewing the license agreement.
  4. Click Next.
  5. If needed, click Browse to select a different installation directory for the framework.

    6. Note: To verify that there is enough disk space available in your selected installation location, click Disk Cost.

  6. Click Next.
  7. Click Next again.
  8. Click Yes on the User Account Control window if needed.
  9. Click Close.
