Setting Up Staff Templates
Staff templates are used to add new staff without having to enter the same basic information, such as home office, department, or organizational unit assignments.
You can also define a default staff template This staff template is used whenever someone creates a new staff, unless they specify another template or copy details from an existing staff to create a custom template. to use as the default when creating new staff. There is a system defined default template, but you can designate another template as the default template. There must always be one default template - the current one may not be deleted.
In a staff template, you cannot edit user-specific information, such as SSN/EIN or staff ID. Those will be defined once you create the staff.
