Setting Up Staff Team Assignments
You can create teams that mirror the working groups, departments, reporting relationships, or other groupings used in your firm. Grouping staff into teams can simplify administrative tasks
You can make and edit team assignments for individual staff one at a time, or for a team as a whole. The method that is most efficient for you will depend on how many staff need to be assigned to teams and the number of teams they belong to.
- Individual. This is done using the staff profile. See Assigning Staff Teams for more information. This method may be more efficient if one or more of the following is true:
- You only need to make or change assignments for one or two staff.
- You are making or changing assignments for staff on different teams.
- You need to make or change multiple team assignments for each person.
- Team. This is done using the team profile. See Assigning Staff to a Team for more information. This method may be more efficient if one or both of the following is true:
- Team membership is based on a set of shared attributes Common characteristics that clients or staff are assigned, such as organizational units, types, classes, lines of business, or business codes..
- You need to make several assignment changes to the same team.
