Overview of Billing Setup in the Client Profile
In a client profile, you can set client specific billing options, including rates, fees, and groups by expanding the Practice section on the navigation panel. These options are only available if your firm has Practice licensed and installed.

How do I make a client billable?
Open Dashboard , click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Client Manager under Clients .
Do one of the following:
Click Practice > Billing Options on the navigation panel.
Select Billable .
Click one of the Save buttons or cancel .
Save
Saves the changes and the window stays open for editing.
Save & New
Saves the changes and opens a new window to create a new client. This option is available only when you are creating a new client.
Save & Close
Saves the changes and exits the window.
Cancel
Exits the window without saving your changes.
Tip : If a client is flagged as billable and you need to add non-billable items to the client, you might set up a sub-ID client to receive those non-billable items. Another option is to set up a service code that is non-billable to a billable client.
How do I select the client address to use on billing invoices?
Open Dashboard , click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Client Manager under Clients .
Do one of the following:
Click Practice > Billing Options on the navigation panel.
Expand the Invoice and statement address section.
Select the address type to display on the invoice.
Tip : To see the details for an address type, select Profile Information > Address/Phone in the navigation panel.
Click one of the Save buttons or cancel .
Save
Saves the changes and the window stays open for editing.

Saves the changes and opens a new window to create a new client. This option is available only when you are creating a new client.
Save & Close
Saves the changes and exits the window.
Cancel
Exits the window without saving your changes.
