About Folder Templates
Folder templates are pre-defined folder structures used to organize files for an entity. Folder templates are specific to entity types. For example, a folder template set up for client entities can't also be used for staff entities. Document provides a default folder template for each entity type. You can create or modify folder templates as needed to fit your firm's needs.
Each entity must be subscribed to a folder template. New entities are automatically subscribed to the default folder template for the entity type. You can change an entity's subscription as long as no files have been uploaded for the entity. Once files have been added, the folder template subscription cannot be changed without first removing all the files uploaded for the entity.

Changes you make to folder templates for one storage area are not applied to the folder templates in the other storage area.
