Adding or Editing Client Associate Contacts

The client associate contact profile allows you to add or edit contact information for a person, such as a banker or lawyer who works with the client associate.

Note: The name entered for each contact is used as the legal name for the contact.

To add or edit client associate contact information, do the following:

  1. Open Dashboard, click Application Links on the navigation panel, and then click Client Manager under Clients.
  2. Do one of the following:
  3. Click Associates under Profile Information on the navigation panel.
  4. Do one of the following to display the client associate profile:
    • Add an associate. Click New on the button bar to add a client associate.
    • Open an associate. Select an associate in the grid and click Open on the button bar to edit an existing client associate.
  5. Click Contacts on the navigation panel. Any existing contacts created for the client associate are listed in the grid.
  6. Do one of the following to display the client associate contact profile:
    • Add an associate contact. Click New on the button bar to add a client associate contact.
    • Open an associate contact. Select a contact in the grid and click Open on the button bar to edit an existing client associate contact.
  7. Click Full Name to enter the contact's name. Full name can include title, first, middle, and last names, and a suffix. First and last names are required.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Enter the client associate contact information on the General tab. ClosedExplain the components of the window.
  10. Click Notes on the navigation panel to document specific information about this client associate contact. See Managing Client Associate Notes for more information.
  11. Click one of the client associate contact profile ClosedSave buttons or cancel.
  12. Button Description
    Save Saves the changes and the window stays open for editing.
    Save & New Saves the changes and opens a new window to create a new client associate contact. This option is available only when you are creating a new client associate contact.
    Save & Close Saves the changes and exits the window.
    Cancel Exits the window without saving your changes.
  13. Click one of the client associate profile ClosedSave buttons or cancel.
  14. Important: You must save the client associate profile to save the client associate contact information.

  15. If you also changed settings in the client profile, click one of the ClosedSave buttons or cancel.
