Each news event in Advisor is accompanied by a prepared letter that you can download and use as the basis for client communications around the event. While the letters are written in a traditional business letter format, they can be edited and personalized for use across many communication channels.
Some alternative ways to use the client letters include:
Copying them into an email. If a letter is lengthy, shorten it to include only the high points, and then suggest a phone conversation or meeting to go into more depth.
Using them to guide client conversations. The major issues outlined in the letter can help you focus your research prior to client meetings and serve as talking points when you do meet.
Summarizing the issue in a company blog or newsletter. Keep an individual article short and targeted. If an event is complex and potentially lucrative for your firm, you might want to consider creating a series of posts.
Posting snippet of information as part of a social media posts. Information used in this way should both be a self-contained and compelling, perhaps driving readers to your other communication channels.
