Listed Property Code

An entry is necessary to differentiate other listed property from automobiles. Leave this field blank for percent excluded assets which are not listed property.

Code	Description
A	Non-leased automobile that is subject to the luxury automobile limits
E	Automobile that is subject to the luxury automobile limits for electric vehicles (Pre-2007 assets only)
T	Automobile that is subject to the luxury automobile limits for trucks or vans
I	Investment use listed property
L	Leased automobile
LE	Electric leased automobile - 1040 ONLY
N	Automobile not subject to the luxury automobile limits
X	Other listed property (computer, cellular phone, etc.)
S	Automobile - SUV subject to limits

Note: An entry of "A," "E," or "T" or an entry in the "Auto Number" field without a corresponding Listed Property Code entry will trigger the luxury automobile limitations.

An entry in this field or an entry in "Auto Number" is needed to print the asset in the "Listed Property" section on Form 4562, Page 2.

For investment and investment/business use property, enter an "I" for investment use listed property used 50% or less in a qualified business use. The code "I" may also be added to any other listed property code.
