Total Miles, Total Business Miles, Commuting Miles
Entries in these fields are used to compute the business use portion of an automobile and answer questions on Form 4562, Section B, Page 2.
The business use of an automobile is determined from entries in the "Total Miles" and "Total Business Miles" fields or from the percentage exclusion applied to current year computations. "Total Other Personal Miles" is computed by subtracting "Total Business Miles" and "Total Commuting Miles" from "Total Miles."
