Asset Number

Asset number is a MANDATORY entry for every asset in the return. "65534" is the largest number allowed. The asset number must also be unique throughout the entire return.

Caution: The asset number must be unique within a return.

Assets are sorted numerically within each "Attachment Entity" and are printed on the federal depreciation detail and amortization report in this order.
