Texas Public Information Report

Use Public or Ownership Information Report worksheet to enter the corporation's principal office, principal place of business in Texas and officer/director information. This form is also used to enter subsidiary information, parent corporation information and agent information required to complete Form 05-102, Texas Public Information Report or Form 05-167, Texas Ownership Information Report. This information DOES carry from the federal return if the Officer/Director owns an interest of ten percent (10%) or more in the entity.

Texas requires all Forms to include a taxpayer-specific barcode. This barcode contains the 11-digit Texas taxpayer ID number assigned by the Comptroller's office to the partnership, NOT the taxpayer's federal employer identification number. If the Texas taxpayer ID number is missing or incomplete, the barcode will not be produced, and a diagnostic message will be issued. The Texas taxpayer ID number is entered on the Texas General Information worksheet.
