California Combined Return

The system produces a California combined return when requested. The combined return may be calculated using the "California method" or the "federal reconciliation method". The California method is the default. To specify the federal reconciliation method, enter an X in California General Information Worksheet, Basic Data, Preparing a federal reconciliation method combined return field. All members of the combined group MUST use the same calculation method or an incorrect combined return will be generated and a level 1 diagnostic will be issued.
