Codes 2, 3, 4, 7 ,8, 9, 11, 13, 16 and 17 are NOT valid for assets placed in service in 2019. These codes are for prior-year assets only.
Enter code "1" for assets that do not qualify for bonus depreciation. An AMT adjustment will be calculated for applicable assets.
If using code "12" for cellulosic biofuel plant property, the date in service must by after 10/3/08.
Enter code "14" if the asset qualifies for the 50% disaster area disaster as provided by HR 1424. Code "14" also designates the asset as qualifying for the increased 179 limits of Form 4562, lines 1 and 3.
Enter code "18" if electing out of bonus depreciation. No AMT adjustment will be calculated for assets placed in service after 12/31/2015.
