Electronic Filing PDF Attachments

Use the Electronic Filing worksheet, PDF Attachments section to create PDF attachments that will accompany the electronically filed return. The PDF report should be reviewed after the return is calculated to determine what attachments will be included in the electronic file.

Note: Government forms should not be prepared and attached as optional PDFs. They should instead be prepared using the applicable entries in Prosystem fx. "See PDF Attachment", "See Attached", etc. are not acceptable substitutes unless the government instructions specifically state this. The IRS and / or state taxing authority will not recognize the government form in the electronic file if attached as an optional PDF and may issue notices due to missing information.
