Ratio overrides are available for each of the factors used in calculating the apportionment formulas for the various apportionment schedules for Forms FAE 170 and FAE 174. Enter ratios to override a rounding discrepancy or if the amounts are to be omitted for the calculations. If both amounts and ratios are entered, the amounts are printed, but the ratios are used to calculate the apportionment ratio.
The "Average Ratio" field overrides all other apportionment entries and is used to apportion Tennessee taxable income.
