Tax Accrual

Use the "State and City Tax Accrual Option" field on the Calculation Options section of the federal Return Options worksheet to carry state and city taxes computed on the New York State and city returns to the federal return.

Note: Once the State and City Tax Accrual option is selected it applies to all cities and states in your return. However, you can select the option to NOT accrue state or city taxes for a particular state or city on the State/City Generation worksheet. This option works only in conjunction with the state/city tax accrual option.

If one of the accrual options is not chosen, taxes computed on the New York State and city returns do NOT carry to the federal return.
