Gift Tax Return Preparation

Enter "Form 709" to prepare Form 709.

Enter "Taxpayer and spouse Forms 709" to prepare two Forms 709 - one for the taxpayer and one for the spouse.

If the entry in the Home state field is "CT," the state gift tax return is prepared in addition to the federal gift tax return. Preparation of the home state return can be suppressed on the Return Options worksheet, Processing Options section, Suppress automatic state return field.

If there is no entry in this field, the gift tax return is not prepared.
