Licensing and Product Access

You can assign and un-assign licenses to give staff access to products licensed by your firm.

The quantity of available licenses decreases as you assign them to available staff. If the last assignment is made by someone else before you save your settings, you will receive an error notifying you there are no available licenses for this staff.

Products with a negative quantity of available licenses display in red. This typically occurs because of cancellations of licenses or a decrease in the quantity of licenses. Products with too many licenses allocated are locked until the quantity of available licenses is zero or greater.

To assign licenses to staff, do one of the following:

1. Open Dashboard, click Configurationon the navigation panel, and then click User licensing and product access under Security.
2. Assign or un-assign licenses using any of the following options.

Component	Description
Assign	Select a staff and select a product with available licenses. Then, click the Assign arrow to assign the selected staff to the selected product license.
Assign All	Select a staff and click the Assign All arrow to assign all products to the selected staff.
Unassign	Select a staff and select a product the staff is licensed for. Then, click the Unassign arrow to remove the selected license from the staff.
Unassign All	Select a product with assigned licenses and click the Unassign All arrow to remove all staff licenses for that product.

3. Click one of the following buttons.

Button	Description
Apply	Click to save your changes and leave the window open for editing.
OK	Click to save your changes and exit the window.
Cancel	Click to exit the window without saving your changes.
