Downloading Files

You can download files from a portal if you have been given download permissions by the administrator.

Notes:

  • If you attempt to download a file to a device that does not have sufficient storage, the file displays in preview mode.
  • You might be prompted to disable your pop-up blocker before you are able to download files from Client Axcess. See the Help for your browser for instructions.
  1. Locate the file on the Files page.
  2. Do one of the following, depending on the type of device you are using:
    • Desktop computer. Select the check boxes for the files to be downloaded, and then click Download.
    • Note: When you download multiple files at one time, the files are packaged together in a ZIP file.

    • Tablet or phone. Tap next to the file you want to download, and then select Download. Files can only be downloaded one at a time when you use Client Axcess on a tablet or phone.

    Notes

    • You can also click or tap the file name in the file list to start the file download.
    • Files are downloaded to the default download location for your device by default. Depending on which browser you are using, you might be presented with the choice to either open or save the downloaded file.
